I was the co-creator for film documentary 'China Love' along with director Olivia Martin-McGuire. We researched, recorded video & sound in development stages and continued through the creative planning until release in 2018. Working with Executive Producers Rebecca Barry & Madeleine Hetherton of Media Stockade, 'China Love' premiered internationally at DOCNYC Festival in November 2018 and screened on ABC TV in February 2019.
"Just over 40 years ago, marriage in China was arranged by the state – romantic love was seen as a capitalist concept and was not allowed. Wedding photography (if there was any) consisted of one black and white passport photo of the couple (dressed in Mao-style outfits) as proof of the marriage. Now, China has fallen in love with love and its exploding wedding industry is worth 80 billion dollars. Pre-wedding photography is one of the most significant and curious parts, and something every couple marrying in China is eager to partake of. From underwater shoots to traditional costume, imagination and budgets can run wild, for soon-to-be or long-wed couples."

- Produced radio programs (news, lifestyle, music, comedy) with daily deadlines. Supervised staff, organising workflow & ran pitch meetings and aircheck & coaching sessions.
- Worked within content teams across TV, live music & online with award winning projects & senior level project management & communication.

Work Examples - Live Radio & Podcasts:
My legacy in Australia was modernising the Like a Version segment for live radio & creating the podcast while working with the video crew to a tight deadline each week. Like a Version is the world’s most popular cover song performance session that continues to win Australian music awards. I produced the segment from 2007 - 2014.
Produced the triple j Morning Show - a daily 3 hour live radio show between 6am - 9am each weekday - for live examples, listen to their podcast here for similar programming. I worked across three radio teams, ‘Top Shelf with Robbie Buck’, ‘Robbie, Marieke & The Doctor’ and ‘Tom and Alex’ at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) with the aim to inform, educate & entertain with a fun & irreverent approach for an 18-24 year old demographic.
